A Career Fair is being organized at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 29 March 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the AIT Conference Center. Organized by AIT’s Career Center, it will feature companies from Thailand as well as overseas. The fair is an opportunity for companies to get exposed to students from 50 plus nationalities studying at AIT.
Cyber attack is once again the top threat perceived by businesses, according to research published today by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) in association with BSI (British Standards Institution). Eighty eight percent of organizations are either ‘extremely concerned’ or ‘concerned’ about the possibility of a cyber attack. The threat of a data breach remains in second place (81 percent), while unplanned IT and telecom outage stays in third place (80 percent).

The research highlights an opportunity for service providers to improve the customer experience and reduce call center costs. By linking customers’ social media identities to their profiles stored in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, and using big data analytics techniques to identify important social media shouts, service providers can pre-empt calls or even better resolve the issue before the call reaches the call center.
